Antonio Paolo Carlucci is an Associate Professor of systems for energy and environment at the University of Salento (Italy).

Paolo has been actively taking part in different national and international research projects as scientific member and/or researcher. Paolo has co-authored more than 30 papers published in internationally-recognized journals and has presented more than 40 papers at international congresses.

Dr. Carlucci is the Guest Editor of Special Issue on “Dual-Fuel and Fuel Additives: Combustion Experimentation and Modeling for Internal Combustion Engines” in Fuel (Elsevier).

A. Paolo Carlucci is currently the Director of “Engines” and “Combustion and Sprays” labs at University of Salento. The activities currently being undertaken include: combustion analysis and non-intrusive diagnostics in internal combustion engines; combustion analysis in internal combustion engines fed with liquid and gaseous alternative fuels; and energy planning.
